Farm-to-table at a Tamanique finca
Local Dining & Drinks Experience
Enjoy sunset and a tour of a beautiful Salvadoran owned and operated organic farm (finca), nestled on a hillside in the lush mountain region of Tamanique (about 30 minutes from Surf City). Followed by a delicious farm-to-table dinner, featuring traditional Salvadoran dishes and locally-brewed drinks curated or prepared by Salvadoran mixology brand, Simona Macerados. Our next available group experience is:
Date: Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026
Time: 5 pm to 8 pm
Cost: $65 USD without transportation / $75 USD with roundtrip transportation to/from Surf City
Includes: 1 welcome cocktail, a farm tour, 5-course meal and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages
Itinerary
5:00 pm:
- Arrive at the farm and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink — choice of: a custom cocktail featuring the Salvadoran liquor chaparro or a non-alcoholic, home-made fermented beverage.
- Go on a tour of the small, organic farm with the Salvadoran owner, as the sun sets.
6:00 pm:
- Enjoy a filling, five-course tasting menu of traditional Salvadoran dishes served by a local chef. (Vegetarian options are available).
- The meal can also be accompanied by an optional beer pairing (featuring curated selections from Salvadoran craft breweries) or bottle of wine, at an additional cost. Water and soda are included and unlimited.
8:00 pm:
- The evening comes to an end, under the stars.
- If you have chosen the transportation option, you’ll be returned to your selected drop-off location in Surf City.
Note: This is a private, working farm — it’s a rustic environment, with basic facilities and no wifi, but a lot of heart and charm. Some walking and use of a few stairs will be necessary.

Santa Ana Coffee Mill Tasting and Tour
Local Coffee Experience
Explore one of the most reputable, family-owned coffee mills in El Salvador, located in the beautiful, volcanic-highland region of Santa Ana (approximately two hours north of Surf City). Enjoy an in-depth tour of the full coffee production process from bean to cup, provided by a local coffee expert. Then taste some of the best varietals of local coffee the country has to offer. Breakfast before the tour or lunch after the tour is available at extra cost.

Cost: $40 USD without transportation / $55 USD with roundtrip transportation to/from Surf City
Includes: A 7-stop tour of the coffee mill and expert-led specialty coffee tasting (cupping available)
